With win10 I have to click on a popup and choose which app to use to play the dvd. If you upgrade a PC running Windows 7 or 8.1 to Windows 10, Windows Photo Viewer will be available and you can set it as your default photo viewer if you want. With win7 when I put a dvd in the player wmp would open and play the dvd. They don't seem to be setting as default. I have to go thru this every time I want to watch a movie. I just can't get any dvd app to set as default. Once I make a choice(windows dvd player) the movie will play.
